SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) – Seminole County Animal Services says they saved a snake after it got caught in netting material.

Officials say the red rat snake was picked up by an officer at “Kaya Landing” in Sanford. They say the snake weaved itself through the netting material and became trapped.

The officer said he had to slowly cut the material away to free the snake and then released it back into the wild the next day.
