Brevard Zoo houses over 550 animals consisting of over 165 kinds of species. These animals belong to different habitations including North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. Visitors can interact here with each animal and the zoo provides a sense of being amidst nature. Established in 1994 in a 56 acre land, the Brevard Zoo is one of the most advanced animal habitats in Florida.
Attractions
Brevard Zoo features variety of exotic animals including alligators, giraffes, giant anteaters, giant eagles, cougars, river otters, kangaroo, exotic birds and giant fruit bats. The mother carries her baby on her back for one year till it grows and develops confidence to go alone.
