Cocoa Little League Opening Day a Huge Success!
Saturday was the big Opening Day for many Little Leagues across the State of Florida, Cocoa Little League included, and the day didn’t disappoint.
Cocoa Little League Opening Day 2014
There was a great crowd for the event, the weather turned out to be great, and the kids had a successful and fun first day of games. The day started out with opening ceremonies with local politicians, dignitaries, and celebrities on hand, along with Manny the Manatee from the Brevard County Manatees, and the Cocoa High School Baseball and Softball teams.
The Cocoa High marching band even put on a show for the hundreds of people who came out. After the ceremonies, and team photos were taken, the games began and ran all day officially opening the season.
