Each year, hundreds of volunteer coaches across Brevard County help children of all ages to enjoy the benefits of playing team sports. Teams are encouraged to wear their team jerseys.
“Without volunteer coaches, Brevard’s youth would not have access to the many benefits that come with participation in recreational and competition level of sports such as soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse, cheerleading, etc.,” said Wakefield.
“Playing on a sports team is fun, enjoyable, and the physical activity helps combat the negative effects of more sedentary past times like watching TV. I strongly believe in thanking those who improve the lives of others in our community, so partnering with Holy Trinity to show our appreciation for all those volunteer coaches was a natural fit for me.”
