Sandhill cranes continue traffic rampage

But that hasn’t stopped a pair of Sandhill cranes from returning to the corner of NASA Boulevard and Evans Road, Local 6 news partner Florida Today reports.
The mother bird sits on a nest in the middle of a pond in front of the General Electric building. The father paces anxiously in traffic, pecking at cars as they pass by.
Last week, a nest was relocated from the area after the birds had wandered into traffic. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation officials moved the nest, hoping the birds would follow.
However, the cranes didn’t stay away for long. The mother crane was content sitting on her new nest while the father crane barged his way into traffic.
