Melbourne Woman Killed in Traffic Accident
Occurred at Forrest Lake Ave and Wickham Rd
BREVARD COUNTY MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Barbara Faulk, 79, of Melbourne, was killed in a traffic accident that occurred at 9 a.m., March 22 on Forrest Lake Ave and Wickham Road in Melbourne.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Faulk was driving a 2011 Toyota Sedan westbound on Wickham Road in the left through lane when she attempted to make a left turn onto Wickham Road, and failed to yield to Christopher McLoughlin, 16, of Melbourne, who was driving a 2011 Volkswagen Sedan.
The front of McLoughlin’s Volkswagen struck the left side of Faulk’s Toyota. Faulk died at the hospital on March 24th.
The crash remains under investigation.
