DELAND, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) –

The Deland Police Department says two masked men robbed a Publix supermarket at gunpoint Sunday night.

Officials say the armed robbery happened around 10:00pm at the Publix on South Woodland Boulevard.

Surveillance video from inside the store shows one suspect in a red hoodie force the manager into the office to steal money while the other suspect stands holding customers and other workers at gunpoint.

Officials tell FOX 35 this robbery was very similar to two other Publix robberies within the last few months but aren’t saying whether they are connected.

No one was injured.
