Melbourne Fire Chief retiring

MELOURNE —
Melbourne’s Fire Chief is calling it quits after nine years on the job. Chief Paul Forsberg is retiring from the 164 member, eight fire station departments.
Forsberg, who has been with the department since 2004, will stay on until Feb. 28.
An interim chief will be selected until a permanent fire chief can be hired.
Melbourne is the second largest city in Brevard County.
