CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — A top secret U.S. Spy Satellite launched today atop an Atlas V Rocket from Cape Canaveral after a two week weather delay.

The launch went off without incident, carrying an estimated 8,000 lbs payload to a geosynchronous orbit. The payload is thought to be a new type of Spy Satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office.
The Atlas V is 19 stories high and is built by United Launch Alliance
